Frequently asked questions

What is a Vigneron Indépendant (independent winegrower)?
Château des Coccinelles is a certified Vigneron Indépendant, a member of the Federation of Independent Winegrowers of France. The same family tends the vines, vinifies the grapes, ages the wines in its own cellars and sells them directly from Domazan in the Gard. No purchased grapes, no cooperative, no merchant: full traceability and a fair price, the producer's own.

Our Organic Red Wines — Born in the Gard Terroir Since 1928

Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre: three emblematic grape varieties of the Côtes du Rhône, cultivated without herbicides or systemic pesticides since 1978 — making them among the oldest organic vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley. Certified by Bureau Veritas. Hand-harvested, vinified in a family cellar in Domazan (Gard, 30390).

From accessible entry-level wines to the prestigious Signargues Villages, each cuvée expresses the same terroir of garrigue and limestone. 2 Silver medals at the Concours de Mâcon 2026 (Château Rouge 2025 vintage · Signargues 2024 vintage).

What is the difference between Château Rouge and Signargues?
Château Rouge CDR is our generalist red wine — fruity, smooth, versatile (aperitif, barbecue, cheese board). Signargues is a higher-level Villages appellation, made from old vines in the Signargues area. More concentrated, ages better (7-10 years). Both received a Silver medal at the Concours de Mâcon 2026.
Do you deliver to Germany and Europe?
Yes. We deliver throughout Europe. Germany is our main export market — the website is available in German. Consult shipping costs for your country during checkout.
How to store a red wine from Gard?
Horizontally, between 12 and 16°C, away from light and vibrations. Château Rouge is ideally consumed within 5 years. Signargues can be kept for 7 to 10 years in a cellar. Serve at 16-17°C (take out 30 min before).
