Shipping policy

Unless otherwise agreed in conditions formally accepted by the seller, sales are made ex cellar of the seller.

Delivery is deemed to have been made upon the actual provision of the ordered wines by the seller to the customer or to the carrier designated for this purpose by the customer - this at the places, dates and according to the conditions previously indicated for this purpose by the seller to the customer.

It is specified in this regard that the loading of the wines and, more generally, all handling of the wines carried out after the provision as defined in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale are the responsibility of the buyer and carried out at his expense and risk.

It is recalled that the products travel, in all circumstances, at the customer's risk.

The seller will endeavour to comply with the delivery time specified for the order.

The aforementioned delivery time is however given for indicative purposes only, any exceeding of the said time consequently not being able to give rise, for the benefit of the customer, to damages, indemnities, withholdings, or cancellation of the order.

Furthermore, these times are subject to the timely receipt by the seller of all the information to be provided by the customer.

If delivery could not be carried out due to errors, omissions, failure to update the delivery details or failure to confirm the delivery by the Buyer, the costs of the new delivery requested by the Buyer shall remain at his expense.

On the other hand, if delivery could not take place due to a failure on the part of the Seller, it would be repeated, as soon as possible, at the latter's expense.

Force majeure:

It is furthermore recalled that force majeure or fortuitous event releases the seller, at the seller's discretion, temporarily or definitively, from any delivery commitment, and this without any compensation for the benefit of the customer.

Such a situation includes all events or causes beyond the seller's control, hindering and/or halting the supplies and/or deliveries of the seller or those of its suppliers, service providers, and/or subcontractors, and preventing the seller in good faith from carrying out the delivery of the wines and products that are the subject of the order.

It is incumbent upon the latter to make all necessary claims with the carrier in the event of damage or shortage.

The Seller's liability is discharged upon the handing over of the goods to the carrier.

In the event that a customer refuses to take delivery of the goods on the date provided for in the order, the goods are immediately invoiced, and storage charges are applied as of right at the rate of 1% per month of delay.

The customer is moreover solely responsible for all risks incurred by the goods.
