Cuvée Élytres — no added sulfites, certified organic, awarded in Europe

Cuvée Élytres is our answer to a growing demand: an organic red wine that goes all the way in its natural approach, with no added sulfites (added SO₂ = 0 mg/L). Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah from our vineyards certified by Bureau Veritas since 1978, in Domazan in the Gard region.

Result: 🥇 Gold Trophy at the Frankfurt Wine Trophy 2024 — one of Europe's largest wine competitions by number of participants, particularly influential in German-speaking and Scandinavian markets.

🐞 The name "Élytres" refers to the protective wing cases of the ladybug — the estate's symbol since 1928. No added sulfites = no chemical safety net. Only the winemaker's care.

Is Élytres suitable for people allergic to sulfites?
Cuvée Élytres contains no added sulfites — only sulfites naturally produced by fermentation are present (approximately 10-15 mg/L). It is suitable for people sensitive to sulfites and asthmatics reactive to SO₂. However, it is not guaranteed "allergen-free" in the broad sense (possible presence of residual natural sulfites).
How to store Élytres without added sulfites?
At 12-15°C, away from light, bottle lying down. Consume within 3-4 years after vintage (slightly less aging potential than a sulfited red). Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 2-3 days. Sulfites act as preservatives, so their absence makes the wine more vulnerable to oxidation.
Are all organic wines sulfite-free?
No. Organic and "no added sulfites" are two independent certifications. An organic wine may contain sulfites (but in reduced quantities: max 100 mg/L for organic reds vs 150 mg/L for conventional). The mention "no added sulfites" is an additional guarantee, distinct from AB certification.
